LOW MOOR – Clifton Middle School will hold an orientation/open house for students on Monday, August 23.
Students in grade six with last named beginning with A through M should report to the gym at 1 p.m. and last named N through Z at 4 p.m.
There will be an informative assembly and students will be given schedules, locker assignments and important information pertaining to the school year.
Parents of students entering sixth grade are reminded that they must have the Tdap immunization to enter school on August 25.
In order for all students to be able to begin their school year on a positive note, parents are encouraged to take care of the immunization prior to the opening of school.
If a student comes to school without the immunization, parents will be contacted to pick up their child.
Contact the school, your child’s physician or the Alleghany County-Covington Health Department if there are any questions regarding this immunization.
Students in grades seven and eight should report anytime between 2 and 4 p.m. Students will report to homerooms to receive schedules, locker assignments, and important information pertaining to the school year.
