Sign Up Dates For Miss Queen Of Hearts Pageants

The Alleghany Heart Unit has announced sign up dates for the 2014 Miss Queen of Hearts pageants.

All proceeds from the pageants will benefit the American Heart Association.

Each pageant will consist of 20 contestants who may compete as many times as they want as long as they have not won that age category before.

A drawing will be held if more than 20 people are present at the lottery.

Registrations will be held in Covington High School’s Curfman Hall. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the lottery will begin at 6 p.m. No one will be allowed in after 6 p.m.

An adult must be present for registration.

Pageant directors will be on hand to give out information and answer questions concerning the pageants.

November 4

Registration will be held for the Queen for a Cause pageant (two age groups), which benefits the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association, for ages 19 and up; Senior miss Queen of Hearts, 11th and 12th grades; Junior Miss Queen of Hearts, 8th, 9th and 10th grades; Young Miss Queen of Hearts, 5th, 6th and 7th grades.

November 6

Registration will be held for Queen for A Cause, ages 19 and up (two age groups); Little Miss Queen of Hearts, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades; Tiny Miss Queen of Hearts, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first grades (must be 5 years old by January 1, 2014).
