Dear Mr. Editor,

On Aug. 10, Kars Unlimited hosted the annual StreetScene in downtown Covington. This was the 35th car show for our club and what an exciting day it turned out to be.

Without the generous and wonderful support of our local businesses, governments and citizens of this fine area it would not have been possible for the show to take place. Because this was a special event not only for our club but for the area, we wanted to make it a day which the area would remember.

We would like to thank the following area businesses and individuals who helped us in so many different ways.  First and foremost we would like to thank the city of Covington, Covington Parks and Recreation, Allen Dressler, the City of Covington Police Department, City of Covington Public Works, and all the employees of the city who every year go above and beyond in making sure everyone has a good, safe time in downtown Covington and at the Jackson River Sport Com-plex.

We could not put this event on without the cooperation from our wonderful area.

Judging from the response of the crowd and the comments given, it was really enjoyed by the community.

Plans are underway for next year’s show and we hope to make it even better.

Thank you again for all your support.  See you at the 36th Annual StreetScene Car Show!

Sincerely,
