A Walk to Defeat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, will be held Sunday Hollins University in Roanoke, beginning at 2 p.m.
A team from Epworth United Methodist Church in Selma has been formed, with Rose Fisher as captain. Local residents Eddie Rhea and Debbie Michie are also planning to participate in the walk.
