Lois Montgomery Terry, 82, of Covington, died, Monday, October 14, 2013.
She was born July 6, 1931 in Covington, a daughter of the late Ocie C. and Julia Lushbaugh Montgomery.
Mrs. Terry retired in 1994 as a Nursing Assistant for area hospitals after over 31 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Clyde M. Terry of Covington; one daughter, Patsy “Robbie” Tucker and her husband Stevan of Roanoke; two sons, Michael R. Terry and Ina Poague of Covington and Steven Terry and his wife Donna of Newport News; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Mangus of Indianapolis, Ind., and a number of nieces and nephews, including Phyllis long, Sandra Dunaway, Betty O’Conner and Larry Terry, all of Covington.
In keeping with Mrs. Terry’s wishes, her body has been cremated.
The funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, October 17, in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Duncan officiating, assisted by the Rev. Dean Bowser.
Following the service the family will receive their friends at Arritt Funeral Home.
