Roger Lee Losh, 67, of Staunton , died, Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge.  

He was born July 29, 1945 in Augusta County, a son of the late Bryan and Glendala Huffman Losh.

Mr. Losh  retired from McQuary  International after 30 years of employment. He was a life long member of the Church of God in Staunton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by  a daughter, Vanessa Allison in 2010; a son, Christopher Losh in 2012; a sister, Mildred Reese; three brothers, Leonard Losh, Donald Losh and Byran Losh.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Wright Losh of Staunton; one son, Benjamin Lancaster of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Rachel Brown of Covington and Joshua Brown of Staunton; one great granddaughter, Taylor Vanness of Covington; two sisters, Geraldine Marshall  and Betty Ralston, both of Staunton; one sister in law, Patricia Losh of Staunton and  one Brother in law, Michael Sprauge and his wife Melissa of Waynesboro.

The funeral  service will be held  Sunday, Sept. 29,  at 2 p.m. at the graveside in Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Edith Snedegar officiating.

The family will receive their friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home on Sunday and at other times will be at the residence  of  Joseph “Zeke” and Carol Wright on Mill Branch Road.
