Dreama Darlene Givens,  78, of Covington, died, Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Springs Nursing Center in Hot Springs.

She was born February 25, 1935 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mable Redman Givens Tingler.  

In addition to her parents, Dreama was preceded in death by her step father, James Frank Tingler,  a brother, Benson Tingler and a sister, Velma Tingler.

Surviving are  four sisters, Arnetta Hicks; Brenda Humphries and her husband,Wade; Carrol McCulley and Christy McCulley, all of Covington; three brothers, Howard Tingler and his wife, Judy; Rodney Tingler and his wife, Pat and Chuckie Tingler and his wife Denise, all of Covington and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, Sept. 26,  at 1 p.m. at the graveside in Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

The family will receive their friends Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.  

At other times the family will be at the residence of Arnetta Hicks at 6315 Potts Creek Rd, Covington, Va., 24426.
