Anne Bowling Grubler, center, representing White Sulphur Main Street, was the guest speaker for a recent meeting of the White Sulphur Springs (W.Va.) Rotary Club.
She announced that the first Wild Game Cook Off will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the rear of 50 East restaurant.
She invited residents from all over Greenbrier County to come and compete with their favorite wild game recipes.
Those who do not wish to compete are invited to come out and sample the recipes.
A $15 charge at the door will include samples of all the recipes, as well as drink tickets and live bluegrass.
Anyone interested in signing up for the competition or setting up a booth as a vendor may call (304) 661-3778 or email anne.bowling1@gmail.com.
