Sharon Kindergartners Share Turkey Recipes

The following “How I Would Roast a Turkey” recipes were submitted by the students in Renee Warren’s kindergarten class at Sharon Elementary School.

As students studied the first Thanksgiving, they took Indian names as part of the learning exercise.

I will get the turkey from Kroger. I will cook it for eight minutes. I will make some gravy.

I will get my turkey from the woods. I will skin the turkey, then bake it on the gas grill for one minute. Everybody in my family will be there.

I will get my turkey from Kroger. I will grill it over a campfire. I check to see if it’s ready, about five minutes. We will eat at my house.
