Erma Clark Quinlin of Covington, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 17,2013.
She was born on September 14, 1934 in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., to the late Ernest and Iwilda Clark.
She has now reunited with the love of her life John L. Quinlin Jr., five brothers and three sisters.
Erma is survived by one child and son-in-law; Jeanne Q. Jackson and Henry C. Jackson Jr., of Covington; three grandchildren; Robbie Quinlin, of Richmond, Johnny L. Quinlin IV and wife Sarah A Quinlin of Roanoke, and Katelyn D. Quinlin, of Covington; one great-granddaughter; Kenlee A. Quinlin; one brother Ernest “Pete” Clark of Wilmington Del., a number of special nieces and nephews; two lifelong friends; Anna Lee Corron of White Sulphur Springs W.Va., and Barb Dixon of Savannah Ga., and special caregiver Vivian McCarty of Covington.
Funeral arrangement will be handled by Shanklin Funeral Home with a private memorial held for family and close friends at a later date.
At her wishes, no viewing will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Association.
