Covington City Council Will Meet Tuesday

Covington City Council will hold its regular August meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers of Covington City Hall, 333 W. Locust St.

Council will:
– Consider a request of the Alleghany Highlands Economic Development Corporation for reinstatement of funding at pre-grant level;

– Consider a request from Gerald Franson concerning a tax penalty;

– Consider a letter of support for inclusion in Foreign Trade Zone No. 238;

– Consider renewal of a contract with Olver Engineering for one year;

– Consider an appointment to the Social Services Board;

– Consider an appointment to the Redevelopment and Housing Board.

A closed session will follow for the purpose of discussing council appointed personnel.
