There were 30,096 calls for service, with 1,619 complaints answered by sheriff’s office personnel.
Two hundred fifty-seven complaints were referred to other agencies.
Personnel served 847 civil papers during the month.
There were 48 criminal arrests and 23 traffic summonses issued.
The office logged 44,852 patrol miles for the month. One hundred fifty-four inmates were transported, totaling 2,653 miles and 56 personnel hours.
The Alleghany Regional Jail population stood at 79 July 1.
The inmate population was 86 July 31. One hundred sixty inmates were processed into jail during the month, with 153 released.
Two hundred two fire and rescue squad calls were dispatched.
