The Shadow
Twenty young ladies will compete for the title of Little Miss Queen of Hearts Saturday evening. The pageant, which is sponsored annually as a fundraiser by the Alleghany Heart Unit, will begin at 6 p.m. in Covington High School’s Curfman Hall.
Grace Hall is the 2011 Little Miss Queen of Hearts.
Kayana Alfred
Kayana Faith Alfred, the 8-year-old daughter of Marcie Alfred and the late Antonio “Duke” Hill. She is in the third grade at Edgemont Primary School and is being sponsored by Emily Rickett at Merle Norman Cosmetics.
Hope Arthur
Hope Noel Arthur, the 10-year-old daughter of Cindy and Stephen Arthur of Indian Valley. She is in the fourth grade at Boiling Spring Elementary School and is being sponsored by Family Hair Care.
