Organizers of the sixth annual Wings and Wheels Car and Air Show recently presented a $450 contribution to the Bath County Christmas Mother program.
The money was collected from members of the community and show attendees who voted on which of three community leaders they would like to seek make a skydiving jump during the show.
The three community leaders included Melinda Hooker, Bath County High School band director; Ashton Harrison, Bath County administrator; and Mark Nelson, Bath County Parks and Recreation director. Hooker received the most votes and made the dive during the annual show which was held Sept. 20 at Ingalls Field airport in Bath County.
