CLIFTON FORGE — The Twilight Garden Club had 13 members meet on Sept. 22 in the fellowship hall of Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church.
President Shirley Hayslett called the meeting to order by having the club poem read by everyone in unison.
After the poem reading, a roll call was taken and minutes from the prior meeting were read.
Treasurer Frances Hoff-man then gave her report and Barbara James of the hospitality committee asked members to let her know when cards needed to be sent out to those who are ill.
It was announced in new business that the plaque honoring Frances Dillard, a deceased member, would have to be moved due to the renovation of Linden Park.
After a discussion on the plaque, Ora Goodbar made a motion which was met with a second by Madeline Nicely to move the plaque to Crown Hill Cemetery where another Garden Club monument is located. This motion was passed by the club.
