HOT SPRINGS — James River put the wraps on another Pioneer District volleyball title here Tuesday night.
The Knights polished off a perfect 10-0 league season with a straight set 25-8, 25-18, 25-15 win over Bath County.
Allison Swearengin, Jessica Ryder and Katie Via all had three kills for the Chargers, while Swearengin, Ryder, Courtney Maddow and Molly Watkins all had one ace apiece.
The Chargers posted a 1-4 record on Saturday at the Auburn Invitational.
Bath County lost matches against Chilhowie, Covington, Craig County and Auburn, while defeating Bland County.
The Chargers (2-7 Pioneer District, 4-20 overall) finish their regular season on Thursday at Parry McCluer.
