Alleghany’s junior varsity football team scored two touchdowns in the final eight minutes to post a 21-20 win over William Fleming Thursday night at Mountaineer Field.
The Mountaineers trailed 12-0 at the half and 20-7 early in the fourth quarter.
David Halsey had two touchdown runs for the winners from 22 and 15 yards out, while Cade Nicely had 1-yard score.
Nate Rusmisel kicked three extra points.
Alleghany (4-4) is off next week, before traveling to William Byrd on October 30.
