Steven Eugene Arritt, 63, of Richmond, VA, died, Monday November 3, 2014 at his residence.
He was born October 20, 1951 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Reginald   G. “Reggie” and Eula Heintz Arritt.
Steven was  a member of the Covington High School Class of 1970.  He graduated  from James Madison University in 1974.  He was employed as an Accountant with Chesterfield County. 
Surviving are his son, Scott Arritt and Alica Adcox of Charlotte, NC; his daughter, Samantha Arritt and Zachary Palumbos of Aberdeen, NC; one brother, Frank Arritt of Clifton Forge; two sisters, Lynn Hemp and her husband Ed and Mary Kay Guth and her husband Mike, all of Covington; a special uncle, Raymond Arritt of Richmond and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service was  held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Fleenor officiating.
The interment was made Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family will received their friends Thursday from 12:30 PM until service time at the funeral home.
