Save-A-Lot Holds Grand Opening

Save-A-Lot Food Stores returned to Clifton Forge earlier this week by opening a new store located at 613 Cary Street.

The store held a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. Wednesday, just before the doors opened for business.

There are over 1,300 Save-A-Lot stores across the United States and most of the stores, such as the Clifton Forge store, are owned by independent licensees.

Dwight Markum is owner and manager of the Clifton Forge store.
