Group 1A West Golf Regional Rained Out

JONESVILLE — Covington’s Seth Fertig and the Bath County golf team are trying again today.

Monday, the Group 1A West Regional Golf Tournament at Cedar Hill Country Club was rained out in the middle of the round forcing the event to today.

Monday’s scores will not count and all golfers started their rounds again this morning.

The region champion and the runner-up team, plus the top six individuals not on those two teams qualify for the Group 1A State Tournament to be held Monday and Tuesday at the Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon.
