Students at Edgemont Primary School and Jeter-Watson Intermediate School held Jump Rope for Heart October 3.
The two schools raised $5,200 for the American Heart Association.
Tracy Miller, physical education teacher at Edgemont, coordinated a variety of activities for the day.
