Fifteen Arrested On Drug Charges

Fifteen individuals have been indicted by an Alleghany Circuit Court grand jury on 50 charges related to illegal drugs.

The indictments were returned Oct. 20 following investigations by the Alleghany Highlands Drug Task Force.

Indictments were returned by the grand jury against:

Rodney Broughton, 44, 104 Meadowdale Rd., Clifton Forge. Distribution of a Schedule II drug (two counts), conspiring to distribute a Schedule II drug (one count), and manufacturing methamphetamine (one count).

Wilson Hunter Coles, 25, 405 S. Craig Ave., Covington. Distribution of cocaine (two counts), conspiring to distribute cocaine (two counts) and distribution of one-half ounce to five pounds of marijuana (two counts).

Bobby Ray Davis, 33, 108 S. Lexington Ave., Covington. Distribution of heroin (two counts), conspiring to distribute heroin (two counts).

Janet Davis, 108 S. Lexington Ave., Covington. Distribution of heroin (two counts), conspiring to distribute heroin (two counts).

Kerri Nicole Delaluz, 26, 3010 Mallow Rd., Apartment 2. Possession of methamphetamine (one count), possession for precursors to make methamphetamine (one count), manufacturing methamphetamine (one count), conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine (one count), child abuse with disregard for life (three counts).

Phillip Wayne Godfrey, 39, 237 Roxbury St., Clifton Forge. Distribution of one-half ounce to five pounds of marijuana (one count), manufacture a Schedule II drug (second offense), abuse of child with disregard for life (two counts).  

Ryan Wesley Hall, 21, 826 Long Ave., Covington. Two counts of distribution of a Schedule I or II drug (heroin), one count of distributing a Schedule III drug (Suboxone).

Michael Wayne Harris, 41, 120 7th St., Clifton Forge. Possession of a Schedule III drug with intent to distribute.

Stephanie Kay Harrison, 48, 104 Meadowdale Rd., Clifton Forge. Possession of a Schedule III drug with intent to distribute, coinspire to distribute a Schedule III drug.

Matthew Christopher Hepler, 37, 2417 S. Carpenter Dr., Covington. Possession of a Schedule IV drug with intent to distribute.

Franklin Tyrone McKnight, 25, 219 S. Lexington Ave., Covington, two counts of selling cocaine, two counts of conspiring to sell cocaine.

Shirley Ann Persinger, 59, 607 N. Alleghany Ave., Covington. Possession of a Schedule I or II drug.

Chad Michael Richardson, 24, 112 E. Walnut St., Covington. Distribute/sell heroin.

Danny Ray Tyree, 37, 3010 Mallow Rd., Apartment 2. Conspire to manufacture methamphetamine (one count), child abuse with disregard for life (three counts), possession of a Schedule II drug (one count), possess precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine (one count), manufacture methamphetamine (one count).

Dorothy Wolfe, 34, 712 Rose Ave., Clifton Forge. Possession of a Schedule I or II drug.

The Alleghany Highlands Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the Alleghany County, Bath County and Highland County sheriff’s offices, the Covington Police Department and Virginia State Police.
