CLIFTON FORGE — Javier Yancey had four first-half carries at Memorial Park Monday night. Twice he took it to the house.

Yancey’s touchdown runs of 43 and 86 yards helped Covington cap an unbeaten season with a 32-12 B League Super Bowl victory over Alleghany Central.

Covington rolled up 341 yards on the ground with 10 different backs carrying the football.

Yancey totaled 143 rushing yards on his four carries, while Brady Howard added 73 yards on five tries and Dontai Samuels had 56 yards on seven carries.

Howard had two touchdown runs, while Samuels found the end zone once.

Alleghany Central, who dressed just 13 players for the game, put up a battle with Siemien Brown leading the offense.

Brown rushed for 93 yards, including a 58-yard score early in the second quarter that trimmed Covington’s lead to 14-6.

Covington finished the season 11-0, while Alleghany Central was 7-3, with all three losses coming to Covington.
