HOT SPRINGS — The 22nd annual Bath County Christmas Mother Program has begun.
“I was awed by the generous donation of $450 from the Wings and Wheels Car and Air Show event held in September,” said Christmas Mother Linda Criser. “What a great kick off.”
Criser reports that four application days have been held and applicants’ paperwork is being reviewed at this time. Those applicants for whom more information is needed or need information verified will receive a letter to that fact.
For those who did not register on these previous days and wish to apply for the Christmas Mother Program, please contact Criser at glpt@tds.net or by telephone at (540) 679-9118 and leave a message for an application to be sent by mail.
The Christmas Mother program aides in making the holiday season a little brighter for the program’s many participants. Monetary donations, essential to the success of the program, are starting on come in and there has already been interest expressed in adopting individuals and families.
“Community involvement is critically necessary in order for this program to succeed,” added Criser.
For those wishing to make a monetary donation, planning to adopt an individual or family, or those who have an item to donate, may contact Criser immediately.
