The Shadow
Gospel Tabernacle Church, located at 415 S. Alleghany Ave., will host two special events this upcoming weekend.
The first event will take place Saturday, Dec. 13 at 12 noon.
The event will be a community conversation and luncheon that will be held cimulcast from the Natinoal Church of God In Christ.
The theme of the luncheon is entitled, “Black Lives Matter.”
The objective of this discussion and luncheon is to strengthen the role of the church in the wake of recent events affecting the lives of black men.
The luncheon is open to anyone who wants to attend.
The second event of the weekend will take place Sunday, Dec. 14.
Special worship services will be held at 11 a.m.
A special invitation is offered to any male in the community.
Elder Gregory Moore and Bishop Charles Blake, the presiding Bishop of Churches of God In Christ will speak.
