Letter To The Editor – These Wounds Can Be Healed Very Quickly

Dear Editor,

The campaign for town council seats in Clifton Forge was very divisive at times but these wounds can be healed very quickly.

I hope everyone will take a positive attitude in accomplishing the things that need to be done. I promise to work as hard as I can to continue the progress that has been accomplished in the last four years.

We have a very dedicated group of citizens serving at the present time on council and I want to welcome our newest member, Bob Umstead. I look forward to working with him during the next four years. There is much work to be done if we are to continue our movement forward.

We are now beginning to have open communications with all the governing bodies in the Alleghany Highlands. I hope this will continue because we will all have to be in the trenches together if we are to succeed. Remember, success breeds success.
