LOW MOOR — Alleghany County has lifted restrictions on use of public water.
The restrictions were lifted today.
The county imposed the restrictions Oct. 25 after the surface elevation of Lake Moomaw dropped below 1,562.5 feet.
The county lifted the restrictions after water levels exceeded the 1,562.5-foot level for 30-consecutive days.
