The Valley Baseball League has released the league schedule for the 2015 summer season.
The league has cut the regular season schedule from 44 to 42 games and will return to a divisional format with the addition of an expansion franchise in Charlottesville. The Tom Sox will play their home games at Charlottesville High School.
Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, New Market, Staunton and Waynesboro will join the Covington Lumberjacks in the Southern Division, with Aldie, Charles Town, Front Royal, Strasburg, Winchester and Woodstock comprising the North.
The Lumberjacks will open the season with a two-game homestand at Casey Field.
Covington hosts Harrisonburg on opening night — Friday, June 5 — and entertains Waynesboro on Saturday, June 6.
All Lumberjack home games will begin at 7 p.m.
