Covington volleyball players Larissa Moore and Daylin Tyree are this week’s Virginian Review and The Shoe Box and Sports Center Players of the Week.
Moore came up big in the Lady Cougars four-set win over Narrows in last Monday’s first round of the Region C volleyball tournament.
Moore slammed down a career-high 21 kills.
Tyree was equally effective in the match, serving up three aces and recording 42 assists in the win.
The 42 assists gave Tyree a total of 107 assists in a four-match span.
All Player of the Week winners can go by Sports Center on Main Street in Covington to pick up their t-shirt.
