CLIFTON FORGE — Ruth Hemion Ramp Wanstall, 89, of 820 Palace Blvd., Clifton Forge, died Friday, July 7, 2017, at The Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Low Moor.

She was born Sept. 4, 1927, in East Rutherford, N.J. to the late Fredrick Ramp and Edith A. Hemion Ramp.

Ruth retired from Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Conn. as a lab technician and was a former member of the South Amenia Presbyterian Church in New York.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, William David Jeffery; and her second husband, the Rev. Robert Wanstall.

She is survived by two sons; Bruce Jeffery and Fred Jeffery; three grandchildren, Vanessa Jagusztyn, Kenneth Jeffery and Kristin Jeffery; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Jagusztyn and Julia Jagusztyn.

In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 10, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with the Rev. Paul Brokaw officiating.

Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is handling the arrangements.
