Nancy Rae Havens Stogdale, 72, of 1709 Richmond Street, Selma, died Friday September 29, 2017 at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany in Low Moor.
She was born April 19, 1945 in Bluefield, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Garnette Kidd Havens.  

Nancy was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a Retired Office Administrator with the Clifton Forge Health Department.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard Wayne Stogdale, Sr.; a son and his wife, Drs. Richard and Allison Stogdale, of Phoenixville, PA; two granddaughters, Evelyn Marie Stogdale, Catherine Grace Stogdale, both of Phoenixville, PA; four sisters, Frances Jones, of Roanoke, Jane Havens, of Rocky Gap, Sue Scott, Sharon Havens, and a brother Robert Havens, all of Richmond; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday October 4, 2017 in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Dan Purdon officiating, assisted by Pastor Nathan Colwell.  

A private interment will follow. Active Pallbearers will be Donnie Hayslett, C.R. Nicely, Wayne Stogdale, Wilton Stogdale, Doug Dietrich, and John Scott.
Her family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Nicely Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in her memory to Epworth United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 190, Selma, VA 24474.
