TORONTO — Sharon Leanne Mackey, 44, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, died there Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018.
She was born Oct. 6, 1974, a daughter of Jeannie Wright Mackey Carpenter of Covington and the late Frank H. Mackey Jr.
Sharon was a registered nurse for many years at several locations.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Nick Pasnick of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; her stepfather, Leo Carpenter of Covington; her sister, Katherine Mackey and Richard Johnson of Roanoke.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 2, in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. David Brown officiating.
The family suggests that donations in Sharon’s name be made to Pinnell Chapel United Methodist Church, 205 Summit Drive, Covington, Va. 24426.
