Diana Minter Booth, 58, of 106 Hidden Valley Road died Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Booth was born August 9, 1959, in Charlottesville, a daughter of the late Lewis and Louise Smith.
Surviving are her Husband, Troy Booth of Covington; two Daughters, Joyce Brown and Denise Smith, both of Charlottesville; one Son, Kevin Smith, of Charlottesville; five sisters, Jeanette Pindell, Mary Minter and Doris Smith, off of Charlottesville; Deloris Smith of Orlando, FL and Della Smith of Baltimore, MD; two brothers, James Brown and Louis Smith, Jr. both of Charlottesville; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchildren; one great granddaughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other beloved relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the graveside in Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. David Brown officiating.
The family and friends will gather at Arritt Funeral Home Friday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM and then proceed to the cemetery.
The family suggests that donations in Mrs. Booth’s name be made to the United Methodist Women; c/o Benjamen Persinger Memorial Chapel; 3707 Llama Drive; Covington, VA 24426.
