Ray Eddie Williams, 84, husband of Nancy L. Williams of 81 Cedar Breeze Lane, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Williams was born on September 4, 1933 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Robert E. and Myrene Myrtle (Gaylor) Williams.
Ray was a member of Victory Worship Center and was retired from The Homestead where he was employed as a plumber.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a brother, Robert F. Williams, and a sister, Lucille W. Robertson.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his step-children, Jerry W. Lotts, Jr., Gaynell Roby and her husband Donald, and Teresa Miller and her husband Travis; two brothers, Haze N. Williams and Billy G. Williams and wife Anne; a sister, Shirley W. Puffenbarger; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his special furry friends, “Little Bit”, “Monk”, and “Lady Bug”.
A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in the Victory Worship Center by Pastor Ray Eppard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Ray’s memory, to the Victory Worship Center, 200 Hammond Lane, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
