NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Eric Lamont Clark, 47, formerly of Atlanta, Ga., died Sept. 16, 2018, in Naperville, Ill.
He was born March 12, 1971, in Clifton Forge, to Freida Marnette Clark.
He was baptized at an early age at First Baptist Church, Clifton Forge.
Eric became a gifted barber/stylist, practicing his skills in the Atlanta and Chicago area.
He was also a naturally talented Afro-Centric artist, and sold his work independently throughout the Atlanta area.
In addition to his mother, Eric was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Clark Jr. of Clifton Forge.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Cody Lamech Clark of Peachtree Corners, Ga.; nieces, Chante Clark and Chantel Clark of Lithonia, Ga.; aunts, Marva Lennon (Roland) of Raleigh, N.C., Ettrula Moore (Irven) of Low Moor, Latrunda Persinger (Mark) of Hagerstown, Md. and the Rev. Roslyn Thomas of Clifton Forge; uncles, Fred Clark III (Kathleen) of Knoxville, Tenn., Earl Clark (Janis) of Ypsilanti, Mich. and Mark Clark (Elizabeth Gonzales) of La Palma, Calif.; a close cousin, Rachelle Melecia (Nakia) of Lithia Springs, Ga.; a significant other, Andrea Graves of Naperville, Ill.; a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville, Ga.
The Rev. Roslyn Thomas will officiate.
