Geraldine Cody Cadd, 78, of 1307 Dolly Ann Drive died Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke.
Mrs. Cadd was born October 29, 1939, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Robert L. and Garnett Mays Cody. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Daughter, Teresa Whitmore Williams, an infant Sister, Shelby Cody and a Sister, Erma Smith.
She was a member of Parrish Court United Methodist Church and was the co-owner of the Country Cottage Christmas Shop.
Surviving are her Husband of 62 years, Elwood B. Cadd, of Covington;  two Daughters and Sons-in-law, Donna and Steven Craft of Covington  and  Sandra and Curtis Clemmons of Covington; six grandchildren, Heather O’Meara of Eden, NC,  Jennifer Whitmore of Austin, TX, C. W. Clemmons  of Fairfax Station,  Mellia Haines of Salem, Thomas Whitmore of Portsmouth  and  Meghan Craft of Covington;  seven great grandchildren,  Gabriel O’Meara, Chelsea O’Meara,  Owen O’Meara,  Mason Haines,  Patrick Haines,   Trey Clemmons and Will Clemmons;  her Sister and Brother-in-law,  Bonnie and Bill Lockhart, of Covington;  her Brother and Sister-in-law,    Donnie and Karen Cody, of Covington and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, October 5, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Parrish Court United Methodist Church with the Rev. Deb Washer officiating assisted by  Herb Williams.
Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.
The family will receive their friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial donations in Mrs. Cadd’s name be made to the Parrish Court United Methodist Church.
Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
