Peggy Cook Brookman, 56, of 6102 Potts Creek Road, died, Sunday June 18, 2017, at her residence.
She was born July 10, 1960, a daughter of Larre Walton Cook of Covington and the late John Albert Cook, Sr.
Mrs. Brookman was a member of the Mill Branch Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Ricky Brookman of Covington; one son, Randy Paxton Sr. of Greenville, Tenn.; one stepdaughter, Christy Lanahan of Clifton Forge; two stepsons, Ricky Brookman Jr. and Robert W. Brookman, both of Covington; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; four sisters, Virginia Shinault and her husband Ernest, Sharon Kirk, Sheila Cook and Dianne Ward, and her husband Frank, all of Covington; one brother, John A. Cook Jr. of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 22, at 2 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Brookman, James Brookman, Mitchell Brookman, Randy Paxton, Allen Cook and Albert Cook.
The family will receive their friends Wednesday June 21, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home.
