Brenda Jett

Brenda Ann Jett, 65, of 423 North Magazine Avenue died Thursday, October 4, 2018, at her home.
She was born November 17, 1952, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Magdeline Jett Puckett.  In addition to her Mother, she was preceded in death by her Step-father, Chester Puckett, a grandson, Dennis Vess, III, her paternal grandparents, Pearl and Walter Jett, two infant siblings, a sister, Alice Nicely, a brother, William “Buck” Campbell, an aunt, Maude Duncan, and a niece, Peggy Morgan.
She touched many hearts.
Surviving are two Daughters, Nicole “Nicki” Redman and Brianna Denise Huffman and Ryan Clark; her Step-son, Dennis Lee Vess, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Savanna Nicole Craft, Cheyenne Faith Craft,  Willow Lynn Huffman,  Chloe Vess,  Phoebe Vess,  Lyndie Vess;  four Sisters, Ellen Fridley, Carolyn Jett,  Elizabeth “Libby” Brown and her husband, Gary, and   Lorinda Wilson and her husband, Danny, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.  A memorial service is planned for a later date.
