Marcia Ann Hambrick Wham, age 73, of 1316 Grace Ave, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, September 15, 2018 at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany in Low Moor.
She was born in Clifton Forge on March 25, 1945, the daughter of the late Marvin Wesley Hambrick, Jr. and Sarah Garland Via Hambrick.  

She was a member of Clifton Forge Baptist Church, the former music director of three different churches in South Carolina, a member of the Delta Omicron Professional Musicians Fraternity and the Red Hat Society, and a graduate of the Carson-Newman College.  She was also a retired Disability Claims Examiner for the South Carolina Department of Social Services.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Wham of Clifton Forge; a brother, Rev. Mark Hambrick and wife Devona of Newport News; a sister-in-law, Eula Castor and husband Rick of Kingsport, TN; a brother-in-law, Russell Wham of Greenville, SC; five nieces, Amy Young and husband Tim of Roanoke, Lori Rowsey and husband Allen, of Bath County, Kristine Castor of Cambridge, OH, Ashley Mosley of Kingsport, TN, Ellen Armstrong and husband Kent of Knoxville, TN; a nephew, Brian Russell Wham of Greenville, SC; fourteen great nieces and nephews, Sarah, Lilah, Jacob, Stephanie, Kyle, Joshua, Jessica, Jordan, Ryder, Avery, Hunter, Shelby, Blain, and Kyleigh; a special friend and caregiver, Debbie Unroe; numerous cousins; and many close friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Clifton Forge Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Hambrick and Reverend Dr. Tom Harvey officiating.  

Interment will immediately follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

Active Pallbearers will be Richard VanLear, Allen Rowsey, Timothy Young, Jacob Young, Russell Wham, and Barry White.

Gary Showalter will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of donations in her memory to the Missions Fund of Clifton Forge Baptist Church, P.O. Box 121, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
