HOT SPRINGS — Buffalo Gap won it at the free throw line here Monday night.
Weston Smith converted a pair of free throws with 7.4 seconds left, lifting Buffalo Gap to a 42-41 non-district boys basketball win over Bath County.
The Bison (8-11) had just nine field goals in the game, but connected on 22-of-27 from the free throw line.
Bath County had 16 field goals, but went to the line only 14 times, making eight.
Tanner Rivenburg had a game-high 18 points for Buffalo
