LEXINGTON — The Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington has announced its January programs for children and families.  
Tuesday, Jan. 8, 4-5 p.m. Ukulele Club for adults and kids! First half is lesson time for beginners, second half is jam time for all ages and abilities. Ukuleles available to first 14 participants.
Tuesday Jan. 8, 6 p.m. Pajama Storytime!
Wednesday Jan. 9, 4 p.m. Makers and crafters for all ages (7 and and under with caregiver): Design and create your own unique badge buttons.
Wednesday and Thurs-day, Jan. 9 and 10, 10 a.m. Baby and Toddler Time ages 0-2.
Wednesday and Thurs-day, Jan. 9 and 10, 10:30 a.m. Preschool Storytime ages 2-5: Stories about numbers.
Thursday, Jan. 9, 4 p.m. Camp Half Blood Book Club, grades 3-6: Projects, games, and activities based on Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson books!
Thursday, Jan. 10, 5:30 p.m. Teen Improv Club for ages 12 and up: Improvisational Theatre Games; No experience necessary.
Friday, Jan. 11, 3:30-4:45 p.m. Chess Club for all ages. 
Monday, Jan. 14, 4-6 p.m. Pokemon League for all ages.
Tuesday, Jan. 15, 4-5 p.m. Ukulele Club for adults and kids. First half is lesson time for beginners, second half is jam time for all ages and abilities.

Wednesday and Thurs-day, Jan. 16 and 17, 10 a.m. Baby and Toddler Time ages 0-2.
Wednesday and Thurs-day, Jan. 16 and 17, 10:30 a.m. Preschool Storytime ages 2-5:  All about Food!
Thursday, Jan. 17, 4 p.m. Camp Half Blood Book Club grades 3-6: Projects, games, and activities based on Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson books.
Thursday, Jan. 17, 5:30 p.m. Teen Improv Club for ages 12 and up: Improvisa-tional Theatre Games; No experience necessary.
Friday, Jan. 18, 3:30-4:45 p.m. BOSS Building Club for grades K-5: BOSS stands for Building on Science Standards, the basis of the Lego building challenges taken on by club members.
Monday, Jan. 21, 4-6 p.m. Pokemon League for all ages.
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 4-5 p.m. Ukulele Club for adults and kids! First half is lesson time for beginners, second half is jam time for all ages and abilities.

Wednesday, Jan. 23, 4 p.m. Makers and crafters for all ages (7 and and under with caregiver): Papier Mache projects (Part 1 of a 2 part project) Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 23 and 24, 10 a.m. Baby and Toddler Time ages 0-2.
Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 23 and 24, 10:30 a.m. Preschool storytime ages 2-5: Mo Willems Stories.
Thursday, Jan. 24, 4 p.m. Camp Half Blood Book Club grades 3-6: Projects, games, and activities based on Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson books.
Thursday, Jan. 24, 5:30 p.m. Teen Improv Club for ages 12 and up: Improvisa-tional Theatre Games; No experience necessary.
Friday, Jan. 25, 1-3 p.m. Homeschool Drop-In: An informal drop in program for homeschooling families to meet other families, exchange ideas, and play.  STEM and craft activities will be set up for all ages to enjoy.
Friday, Jan. 25, 3:30-4:45 p.m. Chess Club for all ages.
Monday, Jan. 28, 4-6 p.m. Pokemon League for all ages.

Thursday, Jan. 31, 5:30 p.m. Teen Improv Club for ages 12 and up: Improvisational Theatre Games; No experience necessary.
The Lexington Branch of the Rockbridge Regional Library System is open Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday 1 – 5 p.m. Visit online at www.rrlib.net.
