Blues Move To 7-0 In Pioneer

HOT SPRINGS — Parry McCluer remained Pioneer perfect here Friday night.
Josh Chapman scored 14 points and led a balanced Fighting Blue attack in a 60-44 win over Bath County.
Zach Claytor had 12 for Parry McCluer (7-0 Pioneer District, 12-3 overall), while both Issac Armstrong and Will Dunlap added 11 apiece.
Damian Flenner led the Chargers with 21 points, Patrick Chestnut added seven and Sean Gardener tacked on six.
Parry McCluer led 24-19 at the halftime break.
Bath County (2-5 Pioneer, 6-8 overall) goes out of the district on Monday to host Buffalo Gap, before going to Covington on Tuesday.
The Blues were a 65-18 winner in the junior varsity contest Friday.
Spencer Hamilton had 16 points for the winners.
Matthew Keyser led Bath County with six, Russell Ingram added five, Ethan Hyler scored three, Kamoi Stone put up two, while both Brennen Gardzinski and Landon Long had one apiece.
