HOT?SPRINGS — Bath Community Hospital has announced that Elizabeth Armstrong, FNP, joined the medical staff January 2.
Armstrong comes to BCH fromAlliance Xpress Urgent Care in Covington.
Armstrong is originally from Covington. A graduate of Alleghany High School, she received her Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate Degrees from Radford University.
As a graduate student, she spent clinical rotations with the providers of Bath Community Physicians Group.
“I am excited to start at Bath County to provide healthcare to the community I reside in and call home,” said Armstrong. “I look forward to offering family care including children and women’s health.”
“We are excited to have Elizabeth join our team in our Covington Clinic,” said Kathy Landreth, Bath Community Hospital CEO. “Our volumes continue to grow at this location and it was time for us to add an additional provider to meet the needs of the community.
“Elizabeth comes to us with great experience in a variety of care settings along with a connection to the community that we serve,”?Landreth added.

Elizabeth and her husband Michael, along with their three children reside in Covington. In her spare time, she enjoys church activities, reading, and spending time with family.
