The annual Holiday Remembrance Service to assist families coping with the Christmas season after the death of a loved one will be held Sunday, Dec. 2, at Arritt Funeral Home.
For a number of years this service has been conducted by the staff of Arritt Funeral Home to provide a meaningful worship experience for area families that are grieving during the holiday season.
The Rev. Deb Washer will officiate the service in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home at 4 p.m.
Many families that have participated in this service over the years have noted that holidays are the most difficult times of the year to get through emotionally.
This service is not just for families that have experienced a loss in this year, but for anyone who wishes to honor and remember their loved ones during this special season.
As in past years, Arritt Funeral Home will have dove ornaments engraved with the name of the family member that was served this year. Families may pick up their ornament following the service.
