Mountaineer Girls At Christiansburg Tonight At 6

Alleghany’s scheduled Class 3, Region D girls basketball tournament quarterfinal at Christiansburg was postponed Tuesday night.
The Mountaineers (15-8) and the Blue Demons (19-4) are now scheduled to play tonight at 6 p.m.
Two first round games were played in the tournament Tuesday.
Top-seeded Magna Vista beat Cave Spring, 57-34, and Lord Botetourt stopped Abingdon, 55-46.
The fourth quarterfinal — Northside at Patrick County — was postponed Tuesday and scheduled for tonight.
The tournament semifinals are now scheduled for Saturday night in Christiansburg, with the title game on Monday, also at Christiansburg.
