NARROWS — A fast start propelled Narrows to a 57-42 Pioneer District girls basketball win over Bath County here Wednesday.
The Green Wave led 18-4 after one quarter.
Haley Lawrence led Narrows (3-0 Pioneer, 3-7 overall) with 12 points, while Audrey Riddle added 11.
Kassedi Estes had 18 points for Bath County and Gabrie Herscher scored 11.
Selena Wolfe with five and Joley McLain and Emily Douglas with two each rounded out the BCHS scoring.
The Chargers (0-5 Pioneer, 3-10 overall) play at Highland County on Tuesday.
Narrows was a 51-11 junior varsity winner in Wednesday’s first game.
