Please allow me to take a few minutes and introduce myself to the people of Clifton Forge.
My name is Jeff Irvine and I have been a resident of Clifton Forge my entire life.
As of Jan. 8, 2019, I became the new mayor of our town.
I have eight years of experience working for our  citizens as a town councilman. I have always enjoyed meeting new people and interacting with the townspeople. I have made it my goal to support our citizens. I believe in honest and open face-to-face meetings with residents to help them find resolution with any issues they are experiencing.
In am dedicated to our town and its progression in the future. Being committed to our town’s and community’s growth as well as building our economic structure is my goal.
At the heart of this belief, we must all work together. Every business which pays our taxes, employs local workers and attract shoppers to out town helps support our growth.
Our organizations are all vital and an important part  of our future as they forge together as community.
Last, but certainly not least, there are all of you, our citizens of Clifton Forge. You are the heartbeat of our little but mighty town.
In closing, I have always worked for positive changes in Clifton Forge. As your new mayor, I now feel that together we will bring positive opportunities and success to our town.
