The Covington City School Board will hold a public hearing on the 2019-2020 proposed operating budget TONIGHTat 6 p.m. at the School Board Offices, 340 E. Walnut Street.
Following the public hearing on the 2019-2020 proposed operating budget, the regular February meeting for the Covington City School Board will take place.
Items on the agenda for Monday’s meeting include:
— School Board Goals/ Stategic Plan:?SMART Goals update and strategic plan discussion;
— Committee and Joint Board Reports;
— Superintendent’s Reports: School Board Appreciation Month, VSBA Clerk Appreciation Month, Black History Month, Attendance Update.
Following the regular meeting, the Covington City School Board will convene in closed session to discuss personnel resignation and appointments.
Following the personnel closed session, at approximately 8:15 p.m., the school board will meet in another closed session regarding pupil personnel case no. 18.19.04 with action expected to be taken on the case.
