CLIFTON?FORGE?— The Clifton Forge Woman’s Club met Monday, Nov. 5.
Award-winning photographer Chuck Almarez was the guest speaker.
Chuck shared a slide show of various photos and spoke about the manipulation of photography which began in the 1800s with multiple exposures in one print.
Chuck also displayed several of his recent photographs which he offers to people to interpret.
“Ninety nine percent of the time, I don’t plan — I just mess around with the image,” Almarez said.
Refreshments for the meeting were provided by Martha Edwards, Kathy Smestad, Betsy Carter, Lu Burks, Meriam Carpenter and Pat Tyree.
Due to the December 1 Holiday Tour of Home and Holiday Joy Silent Auction, the club’s next meeting will be in February.
