WARM SPRINGS – The Bath County Board of Supervisors will hold its regular May meeting Tuesday, beginning at 7 p.m. in Room 115 of the Bath County Courthouse.
Items on the agenda include public hearings on the proposed school and county budgets for fiscal year 2013 and the proposed schedule for tax rates in the upcoming fiscal year.
Other items on the agenda include:
– setting public hearing for rezoning 1.96 acres in the Warm Springs Magisterial District from B-1 (Convenience Business) to B-2 (General Business) for the purpose of creating apartments;
– authorization to engage CHA and Associates in comprehensive solid waste efficiency study;
– an update on the courthouse columns project;
– an update on the courthouse painting project;
– NACO prescription drug program review of marketing materials and update;
– review and authorization of request for proposal for financial advisory services;
– resignations and appointments to various boards and commissions;
Prior to the regular session, supervisors will meet in closed meeting, beginning at 6 p.m.
